Rock Show with Sugar Free All-Stars

Dr. Rock and Boom performance at the Edmond library.
Look at baby Sam standing at 8 months! Our girls love Sam.

We love a good rock show! It takes a few songs for the girls to get warmed up but when they do....watch out front row.

I know I've been blogging what seems like a lot at least to me. I've had to take more time outs when David's home to put my swelling feet up. The hot temperatures and my activity level have really made swelling an issue.

Daddy's Girls

A few days ago Hayden woke from her nap saying, "DaDa, DaDa" usually she says "MaMa". Then a couple nights ago Hazel came into our room for a drink of water and went to David's side of the bed. And to top it all off, this is the conversation Hazel and David had the night before he went back to work.

David: "Sweetheart, I have to go back to work tomorrow morning."
Hazel: "But who will take care of us when your gone!?

Farm Days

The girls love riding the tractor at my parents house. Apparently David's been riding go carts and motorcycles since he was 3 so I guess Hazel's skills run in the family.

Almost 35 Weeks

Baby girl nursery #3 is not finished but coming along. Should I feel bad? For Hazel's nursery, I hand made all her bedding, curtains, and decorations. For Hayden I painted, made new curtains and a mobile. Baby #3 gets the room painted and handmade tissue puffs. ;) I like to change the nursery for each baby, they are all unique and special.

Tulsa

Team Wilson PDX was in town for Daniel's book talk (Robopocalypse..... a New York Times Best Selling book....good work Unkie Daniel) so we met up with them in Tulsa.
We had lots of fun swimming in Grandma Pam's pool.
Cousins in their pj's at Grandma Pam's house.

Yes, Cora loves me. ;) We're buddies and she laughs at all my jokes.

Dennis (David's dad) put together a great BBQ on Saturday night. We were able to swim and enjoyed seeing friends and family.

And a trip to Tulsa wouldn't be complete without a nice visit with Maw. Her garden was beautiful and the girls loved playing with the toys at her house, some of which David played with as a kid. :)

view from above

Here's my 33 week belly. David said something yesterday about it looking like a torpedo. I'm sure he meant it in a loving way. ;)

we love summer

These days we are pretty much in some kind of water sprinkler in the yard or eating a snack on the deck. When you have a mom who is 33 weeks pregnant you get a lot of popsicles. :)

Matryoshka Dolls

The Thunder's season is over so now I fill my evenings with little nesting projects. I still have to stitch these but I like the way they are turning out. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of things to do....laundry, dishes, picking up toys, but this is what I've been creating to ease the pain of our loss to the Mavs. Miss you already Thunder :(
A little nesting doll for Hazel
A slightly smaller doll for Hayden

And the smallest doll for.........(we have a few names but we have to wait and see her first)

31 not 301

On May 28th David turned 31 and I would feel bad for not posting this until now, but that is a homemade, from scratch double layer mocha chocolate cake, that the girls and I made for him. :) Happy Birthday, Babe, you're the best.

Where is Daddy?

David found a great way to get a little 15 minute nap. You just bring a load of clean laundry up from the basement then Hazel "folds" the laundry all over you.

Spray Park

Hazel has been asking to go to the spray park every week, sometimes multiple times a week, since it closed last labor day. She's waited all winter and the time has come. The spray park is open!

Part of the fun is getting to the spray park.
Look at Hayden's stride! I think it's about as long as mine. Lately if she is going somewhere, she goes with gusto.
