Birthday Pumpkin Pie

For Hazel's birthday cake she wanted a pumpkin pie, so that's what she got. The girls are so sweet together. Hazel has been sharing her birthday gifts with Hayden and Hayden keeps saying "Birthday to you.....birthday to you!". I think Hazel had a great birthday and she celebrated last night by sleeping in the top bunk for the first time. I kept telling her I was glad she was four but it made me sad that she was growing up so fast, to which she said, "Don't worry mom, I'll always be your child." All this makes me happy and a little sad.

Sugar Free All-Stars Birthday Party

Thank goodness we are friends with famous people. :) Our best friends who just happen to have a wonderful kids band played for Hazel's birthday party last weekend. She loves going to their shows and to have them play was a special treat. So many friends and family came and it just reminded me of how blessed we are to have a great community of people around us.

4

How did this happen? Tomorrow our first little girl will turn four. Wow. Hazel is a tender hearted, helpful and happy little girl. She loves horses, playing outside, dressing up, reading books and holding her littlest sister. Last week at preschool parent teacher conference her teachers told us that Hazel is attentive in class and is friends with everyone. She "flows around the room" and is patient and kind. We could not be more proud of our 4 year old.
