Buffalo River Camping Trip

This was the 33rd annual Buffalo River camping trip for the Wilson family. An even with a 6 week old, there are no passes. :) The weather was great and the girls were wonderful. I was nervous about Ivy waking up the entire camp when she cried at night, but she was amazing. And even though it was a lot of work, what isn't these days? :) I'm glad we went.

Pappy Dennis was a wonderful cook.

There were 19 people in our group and 7 were under the age of 5.

Ivy's Library Shower

I have the sweetest girlfriends who threw Ivy a library shower. Everyone brought a book to give Ivy and we enjoyed delicious food and fellowship. Emily made some of the most creative things out of books. Everything was perfect and so sweet. Thank you all

Ivy Update

Ivy is doing great. She eats well, as you can see, she sleeps well (normally 4 hour segments at night) and is already moving her head around. She's seems to be easy going and just along for the ride.

Taking a Walk

The girl love playing outside and I love it too now that I'm not pregnant and the temperature is below 100.

Hazel

Hazel loves horses and thankfully so does my mom. My mom has been giving her riding lessons and teaching her all about the ways of the farm.

One Month

Big Sister Day

A great thing about living in an older neighborhood are the estate sales. I found these awesome hats that the girls love to wear.
Hayden is very independent (but loves to cuddle when she's sleepy), brave (you have to watch this kid) and kind (loves giving her baby sister kisses and loves taking her big sister snacks, with or without approval).

(Disclaimer: This sprayer is only used for water) :)
Her eyelashes are amazing, thank you Wilson family. ;)

Hayden would love to go to preschool with Hazel. She yells, "Backpack! Backpack!" for about 10 minutes while we are getting things together to leave. Then she has to wear her backpack into school to drop Hazel off. And If I even let her peek into Hazel's class room she'll run in and then it is a 10 minute struggle to get her out. I feel so bad. So we created a "Big Sister Day" at our house because when Hazel is gone, Hayden is the big sister. I make a big deal about all the fun things we're going to do and so far it's been helpful. Hazel has even asked a few times what we did while she was at school. I think she's making sure it isn't cooler than her preschool. ;)
