Canning

 Last week, my mom and I canned green beans from her garden.  We used my grandmas pressure cooker that she bought in 1948.  The manual and recipe book were still intact. But this cooker was used many times by my grandma who canned every year.  I know that we will appreciate these green beans more when we eat them this winter. :)

4th of July

We had a fun filled and relaxing 4th of July.  We went to the parade, farmers market, fireworks and there was a lot of swimming.  Hayden will jump off the diving board by herself.  Hazel loved the horses in the parade and Ivy was a sweetheart all day long.

 Ivy's top front two teeth came through so now she a total of four teeth. And she loves sunglasses.

Father's Day and David's Birthday

We did celebrate and I hope David felt as special as we think he is but I didn't get many pictures of our celebration.  Here is one of the girls giving him his birthday card first thing in the morning.
